Library Advisory Committee

The Library Advisory Committee of the college under the chairmanship of the Principal, the Librarian as the Convener, Faculty members meets regularly to ensure the smooth functioning of the library.

The major responsibilities of Library Advisory Committee are:

• To guide the librarian in the formulation of policies for the smooth functioning of the library.

• To assist the librarian in formulating rules and regulations for optimum utilization of library resources.

• To make book recommendations for developing a quality library collection.

• To develop the library collection keeping in view the user community requirements.

• To make the students aware of the library resources.

• To assist users in using E-resources.

• To work towards the library development.
